The overnight trip to Battleship Cove is a perennial favorite for scouts and parents. Duing this trip you will be able to freely roam a World War II battleship, a submarine, a missile frigate, and a Russion missile ship. Sleep in cots similar to sailors during the war. There is plenty of opportunity to climb on the guns and learn about service on these historic ships. As the official World War II Memorial for Massachusetts, you will also see many displays of supplies, equipment, weaponry and other articles from this period. This is a great opportunity for fun and an excellent learning experience. We have reserved Saturday, March 20th for Pack 140. Arrival can be from 3:00 on Saturday on.This will include full access to the ships as well as dinner, breakfast and a box lunch. Space is limited so sign up as soon as possible. Fee is $55/person. Anyone who has been on this trip will tell you that it is a must for you and your scout.
